"...a fascinating fusion of precision and playfulness."
North Sask Music Zine
Jordan Perry is a Saskatchewan-based producer, songwriter, and drummer whose work fuses retro-futuristic synth-pop with modern electronic production and dynamic live drums. Drawing on a background as a versatile session drummer, his music balances precision with emotional immediacy.
His upcoming release, Jeux d’hiver, is built around the theme of winter - not just as a season, but as a shared Canadian experience. Isolation, reduced sunlight, and enforced stillness become creative fuel, informing songs that explore depression, endurance, and quiet connection. The lead single, “Sleep Forever,” ft. Celin introduces this world in the form of a stark, but danceable synth-pop song, portraying Perry as a man overwhelmed by depression, while Celin’s warm voice offers a steady, grounding counterpoint.
“Winter can be a difficult season for many Canadians, myself included,” Perry explains. “This project is about exploring its severity, while also acknowledging the connection that comes from living through it together.”
Perry’s career includes accolades such as a Canadian Independent Music Award nomination and features in Sick Drummer Magazine, North Sask Music Zine and CBC Radio Canada’s Ici Musique. His collaborative work spans a range of artists, from JUNO-winning Indigenous icon Chester Knight, viral mom-comedy-sensation Farideh, Departure (formerly Canadian Music Week) showcasing artists Autopilot, Katelyn Lehner, Halle Ponton and Shayla Souliere, and BreakOut West performers Beau Nectar, Vikki Minor, ADEOLUWA, and Rooky Kamiz - recently awarded Afrobeat Artist of the Year (Sask Music Awards 2025) and Global Artist of the Year (Western Canadian Music Awards 2024).
